North Florida Child Development will take applications for the following services year-round:
• Head Start
• Early Head Start (Gulf, Calhoun, Liberty and Wakulla Counties)
• For Pay Services
• Voluntary Pre K Services
The enrollment requirements vary by the type of service requested however all services require the following information to begin the enrollment process:
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• Immunization card
• Physical exam records (preformed within the past 12 months)
Head Start
° Child must be 3 years old by September 1 of the school year.
° Proof of income from last 12 months or last tax return.
° Medicaid Card/ Insurance card (not required if uninsured)
° TANIF (if applicable)
° Referral (if applicable)
Early Head Start
° Proof of income from last 12 months or last tax return.
° Medicaid Card/ Insurance card (not required if uninsured)
° TANIF (if applicable)
° Referral (if applicable)
Voluntary Pre-K
° Child must be four years old before September 1 of the school year.
° Pre-k Voucher - Assistance will be provided to families when applying
